It’s a legacy of art and architecture, known for its artists, architects, engineers and inventors that have changed the world. Italy has the most World Heritage Sites (UNSESCO in 55 cities). All packed into one country are ancient ruins, interesting cities, majestic mountains, beautiful natural scenery and stunning beaches. Italy has the longest coastline in Europe, bordering 5 seas (Mediterranean, Adriatic, Ionian, Tyrrhenian and Ligurian). The country is very diverse in its small states, where each region has its own dialect, cuisine, history, culture and specific traditions.
Traveling to Italy requires a passport and may also require a Visa.
