Argentina is the world’s 8th largest country, the size of Texas and Mexico combined. It’s shaped as an inverse triangle with the base at the top. Argentina borders Chile in the southwest, Bolivia and Paraguay in the north, Brazil, Uruguay and the Atlantic Ocean in the east. Its coastline is 2,900 miles and Argentina claims a portion of Antarctica and several islands in the south Atlantic; including, British-ruled Falkland Islands. The country has a very diverse landscape to include; mountains (Andes), rivers, deserts, tundra, forests and plains. It’s a Spanish colonization, Independent in 1816 and Argentina is a source of valuable mineral production of livestock and cereals.
Traveling to Argentina requires a passport and may also require a Visa.
