The Republic of Georgia is a hidden gem located to the east of the Black Sea and lies between Asia and Europe in the Caucasus Mountain region. It is one of the most ecologically diverse countries in the world with 12 different climate zones, ranging from sublime beaches to snowy mountains to semi-desert. Tbilisi is the Capital of Georgia, the country’s size is comparable to South Carolina in the USA, with a population around 3.7 million. It is an ancient country that dates to around 6000 and 5000 B.C.E., and is the birthplace of wine. There are three cultural sites listed on the UNESCO’S World Heritage list. According to the money men, Georgia is the seventh cheapest country in the world.
Traveling to Georgia requires a passport and may also require a Visa.
