What is Hepatitis C?
Hepatitis C is an infection caused by a virus that attacks the liver and leads to inflammation. Over 3 million people in the United States live with the disease but because there are few symptoms, most people do not even know that they have it.

What are the symptoms?
Like we mentioned above, some people do not know they have the disease because they have little to no symptoms, but some symptoms include:

● Abdominal pain
● Loss of appetite
● Weight Loss
● Fatigue or depression
● Nausea
● Jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes, as well as dark urine)

How is Hepatitis C treated?
Panacea Health Services International has teamed up with some of the best international clinics that specialize in treating/curing Hepatitis C. When you travel abroad for this treatment, you will be evaluated by the medical provider and occasionally, they may need to obtain additional blood work. They will then provide a prescription for the 12-24 week Hepatitis C treatment drug that has shown an 85% -98% (depending on what genotype you have) success rate. Post treatment (typically 3 months after treatment is completed), your medical provider will repeat blood work to test if the virus is now undetected. They will continue to follow you if medically necessary.

Why should I travel abroad for the treatment, can’t I get the medication in the U.S.?
Yes, you can get the medication in the United States, but it is very expensive. In the U.S. the medication can be up to $1,000 per pill, averaging around $74,500 for a 12 week treatment course and even if you have medical insurance, you are typically responsible for high co-pays and deductibles. In India, the medication is very affordable and can save you an average of 80-90% of the cost in the U.S
